Tap water often contains high levels of chlorine. This chemical is used to disinfect drinking water, but it can also have unwanted side-effects. Soaking in chlorine can add years to the appearance of your skin and hair.
When exposed to chlorine, hair becomes brittle and loses its luster. Skin reacts to chlorine by losing its flexibility and forming wrinkles. Hair dye and tattoo ink are also rapidly faded by chlorine. The filter has a minimal effect on water pressure, and it can be used with a variety of shower heads. It can be used with massaging showerheads, hand held showerheads, or straight flow models. In addition to the KDF chlorine neutralizing material, the unit also contains a polyester filter that removes sediment and grit from the water. The unit also comes with standard size brass fittings.
